THE END OF YOU aims to personalize our relationship with the planet, inspiring visitors to reimagine what's possible by demonstrating the potential of immersive art as a means for understanding the world in new ways. Designed to both inspire and provoke, the exhibition goes beyond spectacle to create experiences that integrate our sense of self into an interconnected whole.

The process was highly collaborative, from initial design and ideation through to execution, installation, and maintenance. I was the lead artist for “An Immersive Game of Life” and the tech lead for “The Archive of Human Nature” and “The Room of Relations”.

 

about the Experiential Space Research Lab:

The Experiential Space Research Lab is an initiative by Gray Area studying how artists can work with immersive environments as critical thinking tools. With major support from the Knight Foundation, and developed in conjunction with Gaian Systems, the Research Lab supports a diverse team of artists exploring the potential of immersive art as sustainable creative practice, and as a tool for engaging with our world.

The Artists of the inaugural Experiential Space Research Lab are: Brenda (Bz) Zhang, Celeste Martore, Jonathon Keats, Kelly Skye, Kevin Bernard Moultrie Daye, Orestis Herodotou, Rena Tom, Romie Littrell, Stephanie Andrews, Stephen Standridge, and Yulia Pinkusevich.
